chris spends most of his energy growing food in the sellwood/milwaukie area of southeast portland, oregon.
his weaving uses local materials (primarily cedar, willow, and hazel) that he gathers and processes. his woven works speak as a metaphor for this life’s work. warp and weft: with each act we weave or unravel the culture of place.
